Worship

Sunday Mornings at 10am

The 10:00am worship service is available in-person in the sanctuary and live-streamed on our YouTube page. Masks are required to help protect young children and those with weaker immune systems.

Style: Worship incorporates different pieces of Lutheran worship and theology, as well as a diversity of music and expressions. Readings, messages, liturgy, and music are created weekly around the themes and passages appointed by the Standard Lectionary as we travel through both the Bible and the church year. Communion is currently being offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

Children: One service many years ago there was a young child making sounds in worship. Our pastor at the time said, “If that sound bothers you, you’re at the wrong church.” Still today, children are fully welcome in the service. Families are invited to use the “Prayground”, an open, carpeted space in the sanctuary with quiet toys for children to stay engaged during the service. If you and your little one need would like more space to get their wiggles out, the nursery is just a few steps away from the Prayground. You’ll still be able to catch the service over the speaker system in the nursery.

Wednesday Morning Matins at 8:30am

Wednesday mornings at 8:30am, Woodlake offers a 30 minute mid-week worship experience of morning prayer, singing, scripture, and reflection. The service is held in the chapel and is followed by a time of treats and fellowship in the Fireside Room. If you’ve never been to matins before or don’t know where the chapel is, contact us and we’ll have someone to welcome you in at the front doors!
