Our largest service is on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. This service has elements of both traditional and more contemporary worship styles. We also offer a smaller Saturday evening chapel service and a Wednesday morning prayer service. Click here to learn more about worshiping with us.
We like to think we offer something for everyone, but some of our most popular ministries are for Children and Youth and our music programs. We also have interest groups for adults of all ages. Click the Ministries tab above to learn more about these areas.
If you’d like to come visit, we’d love to meet you! We are located at 7525 Oliver Avenue South, across from the Best Buy headquarters on 76th Street. Click here for a map.
Once you’ve had a chance to get to know us, think about officially joining the congregation. Please contact the office if you are interested in membership. You can also contact the office to begin a conversation with our pastors, if you are unsure if Woodlake is the right fit for you.
What is a Lutheran?
We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace – which is always seeking, inviting and weaving us into a tapestry of God’s love for the sake of the other. For us this faith comes through the good news of Jesus Christ and gives us the freedom and the courage to wonder, discover and boldly participate in what God is up to in the world. We are a church that is always being made new, and at the same time, is deeply rooted in Scripture, Lutheran theology and Lutheran confessions. We are also rooted in the vibrant, diverse communities and rich histories of our congregations. It’s through these roots that the Holy Spirit guides and nourishes us so that we can be a church that is both resilient and always new.
We welcome you to join our faith community at Woodlake regardless of your age, race, gender, life experience, complexities and questions. You have a unique story that can only add to the richness of the larger story that makes up our congregation. There is a place for you here!
