Our regular worship services are on Sunday morning at 10am, Saturday evening at 5pm, and Wednesday morning Matins at 8am. During Advent and Lent we also offer Wednesday evening worship.

Sunday Mornings at 10am

The 10:00am service in the sanctuary incorporates different pieces of Lutheran worship and theology, as well as a diversity of music and expressions. Readings, messages, liturgy and music are created weekly around the themes and passages appointed by the Standard Lectionary as we travel through both the Bible and the church year. After worship, join us for coffee in the Narthex!

Saturday Evenings at 5pm

Each Saturday at 5pm, Woodlake Lutheran offers a more intimate worship experience in its chapel. The service typically has the same order of worship as the Sunday morning service, but is a bit more low-key and there is no special music (such as choir or bells). Communion is generally offered weekly and is served at the communion rail, allowing time for meditation and reflection while kneeling if desired. The service’s music is usually provided simply by a pianist or organist.

Wednesday Morning Matins at 8am

Wednesday mornings at 8am, Woodlake offers a half-hour mid-week worship experience of “Matins” or “Morning Prayer,” a service of chanting, singing, prayers and reflection. The service is held in the chapel and is followed by a time of treats and fellowship in the Fireside Room.
